Septage Management

PrimeWater is actively expanding its wastewater services by developing additional septage treatment plants (STPs) in five (5) areas of Luzon, contributing to ongoing environmental protection efforts. Upon completion, the treatment facilities in Batangas City, San Carlos in Pangasinan, the City of San Fernando, and Guagua in Pampanga will collectively have a plant capacity of 410 cubic meters per day, increasing the company’s current wastewater treatment and septage volume.

Currently, PrimeWater is facilitating its Septage Management Program within Tarlac City in partnership with the Tarlac City Water District. This collaborative effort covers the construction, operation, management, and enhancement of the wastewater system. Notably, this initiative designates Tarlac City as the first Local Government Unit (LGU) in the province to establish regular septic tank desludging and effective septage treatment in compliance with the Philippine Clean Water Act.

Moreover, PrimeWater and Tagaytay City Water District have completed the first septage treatment plant in the South area as part of their commitment to accelerate efforts in ensuring water sanitation and maintaining standards of public health to almost 19,000 customers all over this highland city in Cavite.

PrimeWater remains committed to ensuring the long-term sustainability of water and wastewater services for its consumers.
