PrimeWater eyes first Septage facility in San Fernando.

SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA—PrimeWater City of San Fernando together with its partner City of San Fernando Water District and Local Government Officials have led the groundbreaking ceremony of the city’s Septage Treatment Plant last November 5, 2021. Vice Mayor Jimmy Lazatin in his speech has commended the project, saying that the creation of the Septage Treatment Plant (STP) will bring cleaner waters to Pampanga River and eventually, to Manila Bay. The Vice Mayor also emphasized the role of PrimeWater’s STP in preserving the environment, describing it as ‘part of the grand scheme in sustaining our environment’. “We are a generation that are holding hands in putting our efforts to heal our environment so the next generation can have a better one,” he said. After its completion in October 22, the City of San Fernando’s STP will take over in the desludging services of barangays in city that will cater to the city’s growing economy and population. “The city of San Fernando is a progressive city, and that being said, we need healing to protect the environment,” Vice Mayor Lazatin said, discussing the parallelism of the city’s environmental state to its progress. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by City of San Fernando Mayor HON. Edwin D. Santiago, Vice Mayor HON. Jaime T. Lazatin, City of San Fernando Water District Chairman Mr. Ferdinand Z.
